See Waiheke Tours have been touring on Waiheke Island for 6 years now.  I began this company when I returned from living in the South Island of New Zealand.  

Having lived on Waiheke some 18 years previously I was familiar with its history and characters.  Although the Island had grown in population and housing, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Island had absorbed the growth fantastically.

People from diverse cultures have made Waiheke their home and there are over 32 vineyards and 13 olive growers.

There are still a lot of artists here and the beaches where my children grew up are still there in all their tantilizing splendor.  We used to meet up with friends everyday after work during the summer for b.b.q.'s and the children would swim until it was dark.  That all still happens here. 

I think I have one of the best jobs right now.  I get to experience everyone's first view of this stunning Island every time I take someone on tour.  It gives me such pleasure to share that with others.  It just makes me smile!
