The Waiheke Island Trophy Wine Trail is an opportunity to meander through several vineyards, do some wine tasting and then have lunch at beautiful Casita Miro.  

There are three vineyards that are creating this vineyard walk.  Taste some wine at Obsidian vineyard, wander off through the vines along a defined trail to The Hay Paddock.  Taste some more wine.  Stagger - oops I mean meander off through the vines to Casita Miro for a delicious tapas lunch.   

You are picked up off the ferry and then we travel the stunning coastal areas of the Island.  I leave you at Obsidian vineyard for your first wine tasting and then pick you up after lunch at Casita Miro.  We continue on our way with more sightseeing, perhaps a visit to the local Olive Estate before you catch the ferry back to Auckland.

Cost: $89 p.p. for the day tour.  This is the open tour price so there may be a few others with us.

$150 p.p. for a private tour.

Both of these includes the cost of wine tasting at Obsidian and a standard tasting at the Hay Paddock.  Does not include the ferry or lunch costs.   Summer time only!

This is a completely stunning and once in a life-time experience.  Brian and Jay Holloway sail a beautiful catamaran called 'Whiskers'.  They have been sailing for many years and are a delightful couple to travel with.

Pick up is from Auckland or Waiheke Island.

Sail the beautiful Hauraki Gulf for 5 hours.            

You will be treated to an absolutely delicious gourmet lunch on board before being handed over to me here on Waiheke Island around 3pm.  We then travel for a 2 hour sightseeing tour around the Island.  We stop at a vineyard for a wine tasting and if you wish to stay on the Island for dinner then I can make you a booking.  This is truely the Ultimate Day Out!!

Winetasting: Let me take you to my favorite vineyards.  They are the smaller, boutique and organic vineyards where the owners are usually the ones giving the tasting.  Madly passionate about what they grow, the experience is something special.

You catch the ferry departing downtown Auckland at 10am and I meet you here on Waiheke Island at 10.35am.  From there we begin our day.....I tailor your day to suit your interests.  Really! No hidden time agendas, flexibility in where we go and how long we stay remains in your hands.

         Oamaru Stone Carving Workshop

See Waiheke Tours offers a Carving Sculpture and Tour of the Island in the form of an extraordinary experience. Join John Freeman on Waiheke Island, Master Sculptor in a morning carving workshop. He will guide you to creating your very own Oamaru Stone sculpture to take home. Have lunch in a cafe in the main village before heading out into the island for sightseeing and wine tasting.

This is definitely an experience you will remember.  If you didn't think you had an artistic bone in your body, then you will be amazed at what you will produce.
