Most ferries depart from downtown Auckland Central Business District (CBD) to Waiheke Island.
The ferries leave Auckland CBD terminal from Pier 1 or 2 at the red Ferry Building on Quay St (next to Britomart train station).
The ferries usually leave from Pier 2. Please check when purchasing your ferry tickets.
You can purchase a ferry ticket from the ticket office in the ferry building (approx $36 return).
The ferry journey time takes approximately 40 minutes to Waiheke’s Matiatia wharf (pronounced Ma-tia-tia).
We will meet you with our See Waiheke welcome sign at the wharf and board you on our vehicle.
